Explore is the map of your locker: search, open, and orient without leaving the plain-file world Capture creates.

A notes app is only as good as the moment you try to find something again. Explore is built for that moment — not for building elaborate folder trees before you’ve written a word. Search across titles, tags, and full text, then open any note straight back into Capture.

Organisation stays quiet on purpose. Smart titles and light tags help the list read like a library instead of a dump of timestamps. Under the hood everything is still ordinary markdown in a folder you can open in Finder, back up, or browse in another editor.

Explore is free. It’s the everyday surface for a locker that grows with you — and the same archive Think draws on when you ask harder questions.

Type to filter by title, tags, and body. Results stay light — enough preview to recognise the note — then one click opens it in Capture for editing.

Tags

Tags are quiet chips, not a taxonomy project. They favour people, projects, places, and simple action types so the locker stays scannable. They live with the file; Explore surfaces them without a separate tagging app.

Smart titles

Filenames can be timestamps; titles can still read like language. Smart titles pull a human label from what you wrote so the list feels like a library, not a log of note-2026-… strings.

Your folder

Open Locker reveals ~/Documents/Markdown Locker in Finder. That folder is the ground truth. Back it up, sync it, or browse it offline — the app is a lens, not a prison.
