Markdown Locker is built to be local-first. Your notes stay on your device.
The app does not collect personal data, analytics, or usage statistics. There is no account system and no cloud sync in the current version.
All markdown files you save are stored locally in a folder on your computer:

The app makes network requests when you use From URL (to fetch the page you asked for), and when you use Think / Tidy / some dictation paths with your own API key (to the provider you chose). No analytics or tracking endpoints are included.
Markdown Locker does not share your notes with us. Model providers only receive what is sent when you use your API key. Payments for Pro are handled by Stripe.
If this policy changes in a future version (for example if optional cloud features are added), we will update this page and note the date.
